Appointed as Menteri Besar Pahang's Special Officer In July 2008. Elected MCA Central Committee Member (2008-2011) October 2008. Dropped as Vice Chairman of MCA Pahang 2008 upon being elected the Central Committee Member. Appointed Pengerusi Lembaga Rayuan Perancang Bandar dan Desa Negeri Pahang in 2009. Appointed INSAP (MCA Think Tank Coordinator) and Presidential Council Member in 2009.
