The MCA Kuantan Welfare Bureau had requested the Majlis Perbandaran Kuantan Officers to visit a few "hard core poor'" families in Kg. Sg Soi . Though they may be poor but I was taken by their sincerity and happiness upon seeing us. There is no complains...no demand...no anger..no frustration...unlike many who are healthier and wealthier.Besides assisting the MPK to register and assist these hard core urban poor, we have also decided to employ a former temporary teacher . He had been jobless for three years when his service was terminated upon reaching 35 years old . Being a polio victim , he had little options. We are pleased to employ him to assist us at the Divisional office.
Besides praying, let's give some time and thoughts to the poor....some compassion...
